Our Story
Dalmakdalmak is a Korean bar in the heart of Insadong, Seoul — a place where 20+ makgeolli, handmade jeon, and sizzling bulgogi come together with the warm, easy spirit of a Korean bar.
Our Philosophy
We believe a great bar is more than food and drink. It's a space where strangers become friends, where a rainy evening becomes the best evening, and where the simple combination of crispy jeon and smooth makgeolli becomes something unforgettable.
The Food
Every jeon is made fresh to order — from our signature bacon-cheese potato jeon to a seafood pajeon loaded with squid and shrimp. Add soy or gochujang bulgogi and a few anju, and you have a table made for sharing.
The Makgeolli
We pour more than 20 makgeolli — classics, award-winning premium bottles, and our own house-blended strawberry and pineapple makgeolli — alongside soju, distilled spirits, beer, and traditional cheongju.
The Space
Warm wood, soft lighting, easy conversation — and the yajang (outdoor tables) looking onto the Insadong alley that we're best known for, filling up first on a fine evening. Right by Anguk Station Exit 6, Dalmakdalmak is the kind of Korean bar you come back to.
